公衆衛生学がご専門の大阪医科大学 名誉教授 河野公一先生をお招きして「第１回ＳＧＨ特別セミナー」を開催しました。
先生は世界のさまざまな感染症について、その原因や背景を紹介されるとともに、グローバル化社会におけるパブリックヘルスの役割についてお話をされました。また、日本人が海外に出る場合の注意点についても、豊富な事例を挙げてお話をされました。
「グローバルヘルス」がメインテーマであるＧＡコースの生徒にとって、非常に有益なセミナーとなりました。

The 1st SGH Special Seminar Is Held
June 7th, 2016
On June 7th the school invited Dr. Koichi Kono, emeritus professor of Osaka Medical College and held the 1st SGH Special Seminar.
He introduced major infectious diseases in the world, explaining their backgrounds, and pointed out the role of public health in a globalized world. He also gave us important information we should consider in going abroad, showing a variety of serious cases in the past.
The seminar was so meaningful for the students in the GA course, who are required to do a research project related to global health.
